The Exeter Duathlon event will take place on March 28th 2021 at 8AM within the stunning grounds at Escot Estate.
THIS RACE IS OPEN FOR ENTRY TO ALL ABILITIES FROM BEGINNERS TO SEASONED ATHLETES.
NEW FOR 2021 – EXETER SPRINT DUATHLON
Tough Runner UK introduces the first edition of the highly popular Exeter Sprint Duathlon taking place in the picturesque surroundings of Escot Estate. The event is opened to seasoned athletes and beginners, the course is flat and fast and will no doubt attract some of the most talented athletes. This is a race not to be missed! The 5k run route will take you through some of the most spectacular scenery of Escot Estate has to offer then taking you into transition and out onto the glorious open rural roads around the estateRoute 5k/18k/5kWhy not start your 2021 competitive edge off with a bang!!

Event Distance – 5k 18k 5k
Number of participants – 400
The Exeter Duathlon can be entered by anyone who feels capable of completing the above distances. Early bird entry is open now from ONLY £35.
British Triathlon Federation Rules
BTF rules, All competitors must comply with BTF rules, (it is recommended that you read the BTF rules and regulations which will be applied to his race). All competitors must be licensed to race, those non BTF members will be required to pay a £6GBP levy for a day license. This is now all digital and is included in the non member entry cost.

Anybody caught doing so will be DSQ drafting is cheating.
Minimum age for competitors
The minimum age to take part in this event is 17.

Keep racing tidy
If you intend to use your own nutrition please keep hold of it until you reach a suitable place to discard of it.
We would appreciate if you would either wait until you reach a dedicated trash zone or give them to a marshal.
Transition rules
Security will be present in the transition area. Only competitors wearing their ID will be allowed in or out.
Your race pack will include a race number and 2 stickers which are to be attached to your bike and helmet. This must be done prior to entering the transition zone.
No riding is allowed in the transition zone. Your helmet must be fastened on your head at all times whilst you are on tour bike or running through transition with your bike.

A refreshments Van will be on site selling hot and cold drinks. There will be toilets near thew car park.,
Parking will be near the start/finish line, there will be a £5 charge, please bring the correct monies, as change will not be given due to Covid19 rules.
