Welcome to the second edition of the NOTTINGHAMSHIRE EPIC TRAIL 10K set in the sensational Sherwood Pines. The Nottinghamshire Epic 10k is again set to be one of the most exciting 10k’s in England.
Tough Runner UK has carefully selected a number of locations across England to host our ‘Epic’ races and Sherwood Pines was one that stood out as a ‘must have’ location. Why? Because Sherwood Pines Forest has it all… Ease of access, scenery, space for 1500+ runners and most importantly… an AWESOME race route 😄.
Sherwood Pines Forest is now a historic location with remains of old WWI pistol range and training trenches . Sherwood Pines Forest is now the largest park in East Midlands.
The Nottinghamshire Epic Trail 10K will be more than just a race. We have a strong belief that participants need to get the maximum value for money so rest assured we will be putting on an epic show!

Sherwood Pines is located in the Heart of Sherwood Forest, Nottinghamshire, on the B6030 east of Kings Clipstone.
If coming via the bus take the number 14 or 15 to Kirton or Walesby from Mansfield bus station. They run every half hour Monday-Saturday and every hour on Sundays. Please check details with Stagecoach.
Sherwood Pines Forest has a new visitor centre on site which includes a cafe, toilets and baby changing facilities.

Parking is available and controlled by Sherwood Pines and Forestry England.

Yes water will be located at the start/finish and halfway point. However we do ask that you help us become more eco friendly and bring your own re-usable water containers.
